A Catholic priest lead the pray for Elis Sulu who died in 2015 during Ma'nene ritual. The Ma'nene ritual held every one, two, or three years on August after the harvest season and involves cleaning of the mummified ancestors and the cemetery or Patane in Pangala, Rindingalo, North Toraja, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The purpose is to honour the ancestors and to bring good fortune for the next harvest.
